Haven't made a post in awhile :)
Hello everyone there :) sorry I haven't made a post in awhile but iv had a couple of issues that iv had to deal with. You see the great thing about apprenticeships is that not only are you studying but your living real life aswell and that teaches you it's own lessons, it makes you take on responsibility and you learn how to be an adult, make decisions and better yourself.
And that is what I have been learning this past week, that I have to do what's best for myself but also very importantly the job!!! See I had to go back to London this week but I only stayed a few days and then was straight back to work. Also another little lesson for you all is remember don't keep taking without giving back!!!!! If your manager helps you out and does a favour for you also remember to give something back and work hard.
Since starting the apprenticeship firstly I found it hard and quite scary as it was all new to me and sometimes it gets very stressful and you wonder if you can do it!! Trust me you can, you won't be perfect everyday and you will make mistakes that is okay as long as you learn from them and do better next time. Also I have learnt to push myself and sometimes I might be a big worried to do something or I might think I can't do it, but I do I anyway because its always the hardest the first time and don't be afraid to fail because you will learn and get better.
So far I have worked on the tills, that is always good for skills with working with money and making sure the customer is happy with everything, I have also worked on front house which is greeting customers, taking orders, making sure they have everything they need and also serving their food and drinks to them, I have also learnt how to make a range of great coffees and I also work on the coffee machine which I take great pride in as a good coffee means alot and customers will remember if the coffee was great :) I have also started to learn to make some food aswell. This is the beauty of an apprenticeship I am learning all these amazing skills and getting better every day and still studying.
Sometimes you might think that you can't be bothered to go to work or the early mornings but go anyway no matter how you feel get up and show up!! Trust me it will pay off in the long run, and also you will feel so much better and so much proud if you do make the effort everyday and you do give 100% it will pay off and give you so much more self satisfaction and pride, you can't bet that :)

Tea time with my baby :) !!!
This has been my tea for tonight made by my amazing boyfriend, I have had such an amazing day off today watching films and cuddling and just spending time together has been amazing :)
Now to tell you more about me, I have recently moved out of my parents house, out of London to live with my boyfriend and ever since then we have moved into a lovely flat and I have got myself this job as an apprentice and it is just amazing, it has been so fun and I am finally growing up and becoming my own person. I have learnt so much in my short 18 yrs on this earth but I have been given so much guidance and help from family in the yrs that it has given me the strength to keep going :) always try to be happy even when you think you have nothin to happy about there is always something and remember its just a bad day not a bad life.
I love living with my boyfriend and all the great things that come along with that, starting a life together has been amazing and I have loved every second of it, this apprenticeship will also give me great life skills and also the experience I need to grow in life, I love working in customer service because people can be so rewarding ( of course you get those who arnt so) but most of the people you meet will have a great story to tell and you can learn so much from other people, also it is teaching me how to react with other people and improve myself. People sometimes think that apprenticeships are just for trainin and getting qualifications and yes that is true but you can if you let it take so much more away from it aswell, if you go above and beyond you will realise that everyday you can become a little bit better. Never compare yourself to another person only compare yourself to the person you were yesterday and then be better. I could go on all night about how lately have grow up alot and really looked inside myself and see how I can improve and this blog will let you in to little parts of my life and tell you all about the apprenticeship and I hope this helps someone reading this :)
So what will I gain from this apprenticeship -
Qualifications, I will come out of this year apprenticeship with an nvq in catering and hospitality which will put me in good competition when applying for jobs in the catering industry.
Why catering? Well because I love meeting new people and also I love to improve my skills with customer service and working with great food and meeting great customers is so rewarding and amazing so that is why because I can safely say I love my job and not many people can which is why I consider myself very lucky :)
I will also gain alot of self confidence and Learn alot about myself and get to use that to become the best version of me possible.
This experience will also allow me to meet a whole range of different people and get to become rich in meeting new people and hearing their stories.
There is never a dull moment, every moment of it is amazing.
I will learn and take so much from this and that is why I am writing this blog so I will be able to share my experiences with everyone reading this and also I will have memories for me to look back on and remember every step of the way :) xx
Movie time !!!
So now on my day off so far we have been shopping and stocked up on food we are now about to sit down together had a cuddle and watch a great film with some must added film food :) hope everyone else is having a great day :)
Day off !!!
Now as much as I love working at relish I also love my days off to spend them with my lovely boyfriend :) yesterday was a very quiet day at work so managed to get everything done while we were quiet!
My first ever time of opening up the shop!! That was so scary, but also I felt like I had taken a big step in learning how things work within the catering industry. So far I have learnt how to make all types of coffee, tea an iced drinks :) photos will follow later for all you lovely people. It has been alot of stress when it get busy but so worth while as it has built my confidence and also helped me to become more efficient, and just overal improve me as a person.
I'm using this chance as its my day off to tell you more about the apprenticeship and it's just amazing it has already taught me so much and now I can't wait to lean even more. But today is my day off and I am loving spending it with m amazing boyfriend because although work is very important and I always give 100% every day but spending time with family and loved ones is also very important and you should always remember that it helps your character and helps you grow and then can help you in work! So remember all work and no play is bad but all play and no work is also a bad life you need a balance and this blog is all about me finding that balance in life :)
So plans for today, relax and cuddles with my baby also watch our fav film Marley and me!! Love it and then we are going to have a get dinner, home cooked meal, lit for two :) and I can't wait :)
